HOW TO ORDER FROM US.

While we really like hearing from our customers, you might not have to contact us at all if you live in Scotland as your local needlecraft shop may well stock some of our kits, particularly maps of the area they're in.  There's a link at the foot of this page to our list of stockists.  Specialist shops (not those awful warehouse things) are fairly few and far between and are a dwindling commodity. 

However, we appreciate that not everyone is fortunate enough to live in Scotland or to have a good needlecraft shop close by, and so we are very happy to offer a secure mail order service. We endeavour to despatch all orders within ten working days of receipt.  If you order on-line from abroad, we'll send you an e-mail to let you know when we despatch your order to you.

All prices quoted in this site are in U.K. pounds sterling and include world-wide post and packing, by airmail if you live outside the U.K.

SECURE SHOPPING

When you pay on-line by credit card (we take VISA and Mastercard, but not Amex or Switch) you can use our Shopping Basket system in complete confidence. When you give your credit card information you will do so in a secure environment (look out for the closed padlock on your browser's status bar) and the information will be encrypted (encoded) when it is sent. Your credit card information will at no time be transmitted in unencrypted mail.  Type and level of security is SSL 3.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 1024 bit exchange.   If you have any queries about our security, please contact us.  David Thorpe is responsible for security on our site.

Using the Shopping Basket is easy. If you see a kit or chart you'd like to purchase, just click the "Add to Basket" button. You'll be taken to the checkout where you'll see details of what you've ordered. If you then want to go back to our site, click the "Continue Shopping" button - you can return to the Checkout at any time to complete your order either by ordering something else or by clicking on any of the "View Basket" buttons. When you actually want to place your order, just follow the instructions at the Check-out.

If you're ordering from abroad and would like to see just how much our kits cost in your own currency, there's at least one Currency Conversion link on each product page.

For those of you who prefer not to use a credit card or just don't like to order over the Internet, we also happily operate the traditional system  of accepting orders by fax, telephone or post - if using a card, please provide the card number, the expiry date, the cardholder's name as printed on the card and, of course, the address to which the goods are to be sent.  Alternatively, we accept sterling cheques drawn on British banks - we regret that we don't accept cheques drawn on foreign banks if only because by the time our bank takes its "share" there's usually not much left for us.
