George Copland's Scottish clan crest cross stitch designs are particularly attractive as they portray the clan tartan as well as the crest. We are now pleased to be able to offer these cross-stitch kits on 14-count Aida as well as on 27-count Linda evenweave. Stitchers who prefer Aida should know that the designs incorporate a large number of three-quarter diagonal stitches in the grey belt, but we have been assured by several customers that these do not pose any great problem on Aida. In a very few cases where the design is more complex and includes a number of half horizontal and/or vertical stitches, we only offer evenweave as we do not feel that these would suit Aida. In addition to the material the kits contain DMC or Anchor threads ready sorted on an organiser, a gold plated needle, and detailed charts and instructions.

We hope that we haven't made ordering of these designs too complicated! Basically, we offer three choices; you can have a full kit with 14-count Aida material, a full kit with 27-count Linda evenweave material, or just a chartpack. Chartpacks contain the same charts as the kits plus details of thread usage in DMC, Anchor and Madeira. Chartpacks do not contain material, needle or threads. If you buy a kit, you don't need a chartpack as well!

Stitch count is 86 x 121, giving a design size of approx. 6¼ x 9 inches.
