Scotland
is a country rich in the history of the Celtic people whose art forms
have been a constant source of inspiration for artists and craftspeople.
We at Mearnscraft are proud to stock the inspired range of Celtic and
Scottish counted needlecraft kits designed by Bettine Bain from Caithness
in the Far North of Scotland.
These
are high quality designs. All kits come beautifully packaged with
a clear photograph of the worked piece on the front and contain detailed
working instructions and patterns, a generously cut piece of top quality
material, a gold-plated needle, DMC stranded cottons and (where appropriate)
Madeira metallics. Chartpacks contain Photograph, Instructions and Charts,
but not the needle, threads or material. Our prices all include world-wide
postage and packing. Although designed for evenweave, most Sewing Room
kits are now available with a choice of either 27-count evenweave or 14-count
Aida material.
